The cache host was rebuilt yesterday after its predecessor filled /var, and the capacity forecast already projects the same ending in about six days.

The cache workers log every bundle they write, and on the old host that log grew for weeks before anyone looked at it.

The disk is only 18% used today, so it is tempting to snooze the forecast and come back later.

Ticket OPS-2291 says the team agreed a retention policy after the last incident.
